Terms and privacy

The agreement, and what
we keep about you.

Plain language, because you should be able to read what you are agreeing to. Creating a wallet or starting an agent on real money means you accept these terms. The funds, risk and security page is part of them.

Terms of use

What you are agreeing to.

  1. Who can use it. You must be 18 or older and legally able to trade prediction markets where you live. Prediction markets are not available everywhere. You must not use Vaeron from a country or region under sanctions, or where this activity is not allowed, and you must not use it for anyone else’s money.
  2. What Vaeron does. Vaeron runs trading agents that place orders on Jupiter’s prediction markets on Solana, within the limits you set. Practice agents use pretend money. Live agents use your money and can lose all of it.
  3. Custody. Vaeron is custodial. We hold the encrypted signing keys to your account wallet and your agents’ wallets so agents can trade while you are away. Each wallet’s recovery phrase is shown to you once and never stored; keep it safe, because it is your own way back to the funds without us.
  4. How money may move. Money leaves your wallets only when: an agent you started places, sells or settles a trade; you move it between your own wallets; you withdraw it to an address you have added; or a fee below is paid. Nobody at Vaeron can move your money anywhere else through the product.
  5. Fees. We take 5% of the part of a win that puts an agent above what you have put into it, and nothing while it is behind. Practice agents are free. A swap between SOL and USDC in your account wallet costs 1% of the amount swapped, paid to Vaeron and shown before you confirm. The venue’s own fees and Solana’s network fees are separate and are not ours. There are no other fees.
  6. Risk. Trading prediction markets carries a real risk of loss. Past results, including the leaderboard and templates, do not predict future ones. Nothing on Vaeron is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing is an offer or a recommendation to trade.
  7. Your responsibilities. Keep your sign-in, your withdrawal passphrase and your recovery phrases secret. Check every withdrawal address yourself. You are responsible for any taxes on your trading.
  8. Things outside our control. Jupiter, Solana, our providers or the markets themselves can be slow, wrong or unavailable, and an order may fill at a different price or not at all. We do our best to stop agents trading on bad information, but we cannot promise any market will be available or any order will fill.
  9. Stopping. You can stop any agent and withdraw your money at any time, subject to the withdrawal protections on your account. We can stop an agent, or pause the whole service, to protect your funds or comply with the law; you can still withdraw. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after returning what it holds to an address its owner controls.
  10. Liability. To the extent the law allows, Vaeron is provided as it is, and we are not liable for trading losses, missed trades or the failures of third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
  11. Changes. If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new version before your next live start. The version you accepted, and when, is kept with your account.

Privacy

What we keep, and for how long.

  1. What we collect. Your sign-in (handled by Clerk: email or a social login), the email address we send security notices to, the handle, bio and picture you choose, your settings and limits, your agents and every trade they make, your fees, deposits, withdrawals and withdrawal addresses, your wallet addresses and their on-chain activity, how often you visit, and technical logs such as request errors.
  2. What we never collect. Your recovery phrases (shown once, never stored) and your withdrawal passphrase (kept only as a one-way hash). A picture you upload is stored with its location, camera and other details taken out.
  3. Why. To run your agents, show your record, collect fees, stop fraud and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
  4. Who else handles it. Clerk runs sign-in and holds your email or social login. Railway hosts the service, so everything here is stored on its servers. Resend sends our security emails, so it sees your email address and what the email says: withdrawal amounts and the addresses they went to, new withdrawal addresses, and the link that locks your account. Backblaze (B2) stores our nightly backups, which are encrypted before they leave our server; Backblaze cannot read them. Solana RPC providers — PublicNode, and Helius or another provider we configure — read balances and send transactions for us, so they see your wallet addresses and transactions. Jupiter is the venue your agents trade on. Google Fonts serves the typeface these pages use, so Google sees your IP address and browser when a page loads. Our alerting service gets notices about the service; an account is named there only by a short code, never by its handle. Anything on Solana is public by design: wallet addresses and transactions can be seen by anyone.
  5. AI apps you connect. If you connect your own Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app to Vaeron (Settings → Connected apps), what that app reads through the connector — your agents, their settings and trades, your balances and results — is sent to the company that runs it (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) and is handled under your agreement with them, not ours. It never receives your passphrase, your recovery phrases or your wallets’ keys, and it cannot move money. You choose what it may do when you connect it, every change it suggests to a live agent waits for you to confirm it with your passphrase, and you can disconnect it at any time.
  6. What is public. If you leave your profile on the leaderboard, your handle, picture and your agents’ results are shown to other people. You can turn that off in Settings, and then your profile and picture are not shown to anyone else. Your money is added into the combined figures on our home page only if you also turn that on, only alongside at least nine other accounts, and only rounded.
  7. How long. While your account is open we keep what it needs. When you delete it, your profile, handle, bio, settings, picture, visit counts and security-email history are removed at once. Your trading record — ledgers, fees, deposits and withdrawals — is kept for seven years, because that is what an accountant or a dispute needs, and is then deleted. The encrypted wallet keys are kept after that, because a key is the only way back to anything later sent to one of your addresses; they can only be used by our signer and say nothing else about you. The signer, the separate process that approves every transaction, keeps its log of what it signed and refused and your withdrawal address book, as the record of where money went, and removes your passphrase hash and security settings.
  8. Backups. Our nightly encrypted backups are kept for three days on our server and about fifteen days off-site, so something we delete is gone from every copy within about fifteen days.
  9. Your rights. You can download your data from Settings — your agents and ledgers, fees, deposits, withdrawals, withdrawal addresses and security history — correct your profile, and delete your account. Contact us at support@vaeron.app for anything else.
