A bet on something

Vaeron trades on Jupiter, which lists markets from Polymarket and Kalshi and settles them on Solana. A contract pays $1 if it is right and nothing if it is not — so the price is the odds, and being right about the price is the entire job.

You buy a price

Pay 73c for a contract that pays $1 and you have bought a claim. Your downside is the 73c — that is the most it can cost you, whatever happens next.

It settles itself

The match ends, the venue resolves the market against what happened, and the contract pays or it does not. There is nobody to argue with.

The edge is the price

A 90% favourite at 95c is a bad trade and a 40% chance at 30c is a good one. Picking winners is not the skill; pricing them is.
